Some places on the inter-web that I enjoy visiting in relation to music.

CBC Radio 3
A great webstation of awesome independent Canadian music. They have some awesome podcasts, I’d recommend starting with those. Grant Lawrence always has a solid playlist, and The R3-30 is rather entertaining (at least for me, it’s been responsible for many seemingly random outbursts on the bus). I also enjoy reading the blogs because I’m a nerd.

Last.fm aka Audioscrobbler
Anyone remember when last.fm used to be audioscrobbler? Anyway, last.fm is a great site to a) track the music you listen to b) connect with people who enjoy similar music c) discover new music that you will enjoy. Last.fm has a few “radio stations” that let you listen to music similar to your taste or similar to a specific artist you already enjoy. Look me up!
