I cannot get enough of this track, I listen to it on repeat for hours at a time, I think it’s a problem.Joel Plaskett

Things that make this track awesome

  • Horns
  • Harmonies
  • Call and Answer
  • 60s/70s Throw Back

I think my favourite part of this track is the call and answer. Plaskett employs Alberta’s PEI’s Rose Cousins and New York’s Ana Egge to aid him on this album and they do a fantastic job on this track, perfectly blending innocence and wisdom. Not only are the vocals fantastic, but the lyrics are engaging. Who else manages to reference the Berlin Wall and April Wine in the same song?

Why is this song so gosh darn catchy?

Fun fact; my father was around when April Wine first got their start. Playing local shows and whatnot. Yeah, he’s that old, haha.

Rose Cousins is from PEI

I thought she was from the east coast, but when I went to look her up I must have misread Atlantic for Alberta haha, fixed!
